Sauce:
5 large pieces of fresh garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
2 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 large can diced tomatoes + 1 can water
1 large can tomato paste + 1 can water
1 large can tomato puree + 1 can water
1 tsp. sugar

Meat Balls:
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup Progresso Italian bread crumbs

Mix thoroughly the meatball ingredients and form into small meat balls. Cook in iron skillet without grease. Brown well. Drain meat balls and put aside. Take the grease from the meat balls and put in a 6 qt. sauce pan and add the following: 5 large pieces of cut up garlic, chopped onion, oregano, salt & pepper. Brown slowly. (Don't add garlic until the onion is almost brown and add garlic and finish browning). After all is brown, add the following: tomatoes + 1 can water; tomato paste + 1 can water; tomato puree +1 can water, 1 tsp sugar. Add meat balls to sauce and cook all together for 4 hours. Adjust spices as needed. Serve over very thin spaghetti.
