1 lb. Hamburger
1 small onion, chopped
1 can pork and beans (or left over pintos)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 15 oz. can chopped tomatoes
1 lb. cooked elbow noodles
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 Tbs. chili power (or to taste)
1/2 tsp. oregano

Cook and drain hamburger, saute onion and green pepper in the hamburger pan. Cook elbow macaroni separately, drain and add to hamburger. Add beans, spices, and tomatoes and cook for about 15 minutes till hot and flavors blend.

This was a dish Mom use to make with left over pinto beans. It was a nice warm dinner on a fall or winter day, especially with saltines on the side.
