2 eggs
1 C sugar
1 C sour cream
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
Pinch of Salt
3/4 cup cocoa

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs well, add sugar, sour cream, flour and soda. Mix cocoa with hot water to make one cup.
Add vanilla. Bake at 350º for 35 minutes.
When cool frost with your favorite frosting.

This cake was a favorite of the Walsh family when we were home on the farm. Our choice of frosting was usually Grandma Minnie's Brown Sugar Frosting.
I used this recipe while teaching Home Economics In Willow City. My notes say it was used on 12-19-1974 for Home Ec II foods class. Submitted by Linda
