5 eggs separated
1 cup sugar
5 tsp cold water
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour, sifted, (cake flour is good to use) with 1 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until very stiff. Add yolks, beat again, fold in sugar. Add cold water, salt, and vanilla. Fold in flour and baking powder. Bake in Jelly roll pan at 375 for about 15 min. After baking, cool, remove from pan and spread with your favorite jelly or lemon sauce. Place on wax paper to roll. Do not grease the wax paper.
Lemon Sauce: Combine in a saucepan 3/4 cup sugar and 3 tbsp flour. Stir in 2 beaten eggs, 3/4 cup water, 1 tsp lemon zest, 1/4 cup lemon juice and 1 tbsp butter. Cook stirring constantly until thickened.
