1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tsp cream of tartar

1 cup water
1 tbsp cooking oil
several drops of food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first three ingredients in a pan, add rest of ingredients and cook stirring for about 3 minutes or until mixture pulls away from the sides of the pan. Place dough on waxed paper and knead until dough is smooth. Store in an airtight container. Dough will keep for several months and is edible just in case little ones want to taste it.
