A delicious meal with ease of preparation. These meal ingredients came from the farm.
When we lived in Minot, I decided I was going to make a good pork roast and went to Piggly Wiggly, purchased a pork roast, and made it just like Mom always did. When Jack and I sat down to eat it four hours later, we could not eat it - it was all fat and gristle! It was so terrible! It was not until we lived on 12th Ave and I started buying whole pork loins at a sale price of $1.98 per pound did we finally have good pork. But never as good as what Dad raised.
