1 1/4 tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 tbsp. shortening
2 c. powdered sugar
dash of salt
1 tbsp. dry milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 tbsp. water (more if needed)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and shortening in mixer at medium speed for 2 mins., until light and fluffy.
Combine powdered sugar, salt, and dry milk. Add to creamed butter and mix for 1 min. on low speed.
Add vanilla while mixing at low speed.
Slowly add water to obtain a spreading consistency.
* Chocolate frosting
Add 3/8 c. cocoa
* Peanut Butter frosting
Omit butter and add 3/8 c. peanut butter
