1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 pound dates, chopped (or 1 cup) 1 egg beaten 1 tbsp whole milk 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup nuts 2 cups rice krispies
Cook butter, sugar and dates over heat until mixture boils. Mix beaten egg, milk, vanilla and salt then add to first mixture and cook for two minutes. Cool add nuts and cereal and form into balls. Roll in nuts or coconut.
