4 tbsp cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/4 pound butter (1 stick)
3 cups oatmeal
vanilla
nuts or coconut if desired

Boil first four ingredients for one minute. Then add the remaining ingredients. Stir well and drop by tsp on wax paper.

I remember Grandma Edna making these and putting coconut in them. We made these often growing up, they were quick and tasted so good.
