2 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. water 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 whole egg 2/3 c margarine 1 tsp. vanilla
Boil together the sugar and water together for one minute. Cool, Sift the powdered sugar slightly and combine with the beaten egg. Add to the boiled mixture. Then beat in 2/3 c. margarine (softened) Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Makes enough icing to cover a 2-layer cake
