1/4 cup butter
2 tbspn olive oil
2 pounds large raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
1/2 tspn salt
1/4 tspn freshly ground black pepper
2 gloves garlic coarsely chopped or 5 whole cloves
1/4 cup chopped italian parsley
1/2 cup italian breadcrumbs

Purchase shrimp peeled and deveined.
Heat the butter and olive oil in a skillet. Add the cloves of garlic and saute the shrimp on all sides for about 5 minutes or until cooked, shaking the pan over high heat to turn the shrimp. While the shrimp are cooking, sprinkle with salt, pepper and parsley. When the shrimp turn pink and just before shrimp are ready to be taken out of pan, add the bread crumbs and toss all over. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

35 medium shrimp to a pound. 9 shrimp per person
4 people for 1 lb 8 people for 2 lbs
However, if serving for a holiday and there are other items to be served such as pasta, sushi, etc., 3-4 shrimp per person
