2/3 c sugar
1/2 c Crisco
4 c flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 1/2 c WARM water
1 pkg. dry yeast

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl add yeast, sugar and WARM water. Let set for 10-15 minutes. It will bubble. Stir to dissolve. Mix in flour 2 c at a time. Cover. Let rise until doubled. Uncover. Punch down with hand. Grease well 9 X 13 glass dish. Pinch off pieces, about large as a golf ball. Work a little, pat, place in dish. Do rest of dough until you have 12 rolls. Spray top of rolls with Pam, cover and let rise till doubled. Bake in 350º oven till nice and brown. Butter tops while hot.
