1/3 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Roll in this mixture while hot:
6 T. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar till lightly fluffy. Add egg and mix. Stir in dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake in moderate oven 350 for 20 to 25 minutes. Immediately turn out muffins and roll them first in melted butter then in mixtue of 1/2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon combined. ( May add 1cup of blueberries, roll berries in flour. )
