1 (16 oz.) pkg. tri-color spiral pasta
1 medium red onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 medium cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped

Dressing:
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. ground mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and rinse with cold water. Place in a large serving bowl. Add onion, tomato, cucumber and green pepper. Set aside. In a saucepan, combine dressing ingredients. Cook over medium heat for approximately10 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Pour over salad and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve with slotted spoon.
