1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 c. (8 oz.) taco sauce
3/4 c. water
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
1 pkg. (1.25 oz.) taco seasoning mix
1 pkg. (12) taco shells/or tortilla chips (divided)
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, divided
fresh tomatoes, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 . Grease an 11x7 in. baking dish. Cook beef and onion. Drain. Stir in taco sauce, water, chilies, and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, stirring occasionally. (3-4 min). Layer half of chips on bottom, then beef mixture, then cheese. Repeat. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Top with tomatoes and serve with sour cream and guacamole.
