1/4 cup butter
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mashed ripe banana
1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy and light. Add eggs and vanilla; blend thoroughly. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Add bananas and pecans, mixing just until blended. Spoon batter into greased and floured 13 x 9 pan. Bake 40-45 minutes. Cool and frost with cream cheese frosting.

Frosting:

1/2 cup butter, softened
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pound powdered sugar

Combine butter, cream cheese and vanilla and beat until well mixed. Add sugar gradually, beating vigorously. If too thick, add a small amount of milk to thin to spreading consistency.
