1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 & 3/4 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
Optional: 1 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:

Cream together margarine, sugar, salt.
Add eggs, bananas, and vanilla. Mix well.
Combine other ingredients in a separate bowl and then add to above mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees:
1 large loaf - 1 hour 15 minutes
2 small loafs - 45 minutes
