1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion chopped
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 46 oz. canned tomato juice
1 15.5 oz. can chili beans
1 15.5 oz can kidney beans, drained
1 cup uncooked macaroni
Spices as desired
6 quart Dutch Oven

Directions:

Fry or micro cook the ground beef, onion and celery until meat is no longer red.

While the meat mixture is cooking:
Boil water in another pot until boiling rapidly. Add uncooked macaroni and cook 7 minutes. Drain water from noodles, rinse noodles and set aside until chili is done.

Next, add tomato juice to meat mixture. Add chili beans. Add kidney beans. Stir and simmer on low heat. Add noodles when ready to eat.

This is a family favorite taught to Diana by her mother-in-law Ruth Bohman. Noodles are only served in chili in the State of Wisconsin.
