2 large tomatoes
1 large cucumber, seeded and quartered
1 medium onion, peeled and quartered
1/2 medium green pepper, seeded
3 c. tomato juice
1/4 c. salad oil
1/3 c. wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. Tabasco
3 tsp. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Blend in blender tomatoes, cucumber, onion and green pepper. DO NOT PUREE. The mixture should be coarsely ground. Remove and mix vegetables in large bowl with the tomato juice, oil, vinegar and other seasonings. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.

Garnish optional: chop additional tomato, onion, cucumber, green pepper and 1 cup croutons. Place in individual bowls as accompaniments.
