5 lbs. potatoes cooked with peelings on.
1 lb. bacon sliced in bits and cooked until crisp.
(Reserve the bacon grease).
2 large, raw onions diced in small pieces.
2 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
6 tbsp. flour

Directions:
Directions:
After potatoes are cooked, cool, peel and cut into slices; set aside.
Combine the water, sugar, vinegar and flour. Cook until thick.
Add 6 tbsp. bacon grease. Add onions and bacon. Combine all ingredients with potatoes.
Season with salt and pepper and heat.

Can be stored for days in the refrigerator.
