2 lb. chicken breasts (or mixed chicken pieces)
16 oz. chicken broth
1 large onion, chopped
3 - 4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 small head of cabbage, chopped
2 -3 fresh tomatoes or 16 oz. can diced
16 oz. frozen egg noodles
salt, pepper, sage, parsley to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken until cooked through; remove from pot. Strain broth through cheesecloth; add additional broth, vegetables and spices. Pull chicken into small pieces and add to broth; simmer uncovered for at least an hour. Add noodles; cover and continue to cook until noodles are tender.
