1 small onion
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 T vinegar
2 T brown sugar
2 T Worchestershire sauce
1/2 tsp mustard
1 c. catsup
1/2 cup water
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown slowly and drain: chopped onion and ground beef.
Add and simmer for about 1/2 hour: vinegar, brown sugar, worchestershire sauce, mustard, catsup, water, salt and pepper.
Serve on buns.
**Additional seasonings such as onion salt or a pinch of garlic salt may also be added for taste.**

This recipe may easily be doubled or tripled. When serving a large group I usually triple the recipe. It is best if simmered for more then 1/2 hour. Can easily be made ahead of time and placed in a crock pot.
