1 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. carrots, chopped
5 (14.5 oz.) cans chicken broth
1/2 lb. chicken breast, cooked and chopped
1/2 (8 oz.) package of egg noodles
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Cook onion, carrots, and celery in butter until just tender, 5 minutes. Pour in chicken broth and stir in chicken, noodles, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil for 6-8 minutes, then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes before serving.
