1 C. heavy cream 1 C. whole organic milk 3 whole eggs + 1 egg yolk 1/2 t. salt 1 1/2 t. vanilla freshly grated nutmeg 2 C. cooked short grain organic brown rice 2/3 - 3/4 C. pure maple syrup 1 C. golden raisins
Whip eggs, yolk and maple syrup until well blended. Add all ingredients and stir well to combine. Pour into buttered 2 qt. casserole and place casserole in hot water bath and bake at 350º until custard is barely set. (It will jiggle slightly in the center)
