3 eggs
1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
3 c. chopped fresh apples

Icing ingredients:
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 stick of butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream first 3 ingredients together. Add flour, vanilla, pecans, and apples. Mix together well. Pour into tube pan. Bake in 325 oven for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
For icing, place brown sugar, milk, and butter in a saucepan and cook for 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over hot cake.
