1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion
Garlic powder
1 small can mushrooms, optional
Grated cheddar cheese, optional
Slices bacon, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Chop onion and brown with ground beef. (Keep breaking beef so that it doesn't lump). When brown, add can of sauce and about 1 can of water; add a sprinkle of garlic powder. Simmer for about 45 minutes. Cook spaghetti, drain and cut.
Mix spaghetti and sauce in casserole and reheat in 325º oven for about 30 minutes. P.S. I like to add a small can of mushroom stems and pieces--also to grate cheese over top of casserole and put bacon strips over the cheese.

Personal Notes:
This is another recipe Mother had written out for Aunt Martha and I typed it just as she wrote it. Obviously Chef Boyardee is no longer available; use your favorite sauce. The one thing we all remember about this dish is the mushrooms!
