2 tsp. oil
3 medium size onions
1 head cabbage
1 tsp. caraway seed
1 tsp. salt
2 cup water
½ cup sugar
½ cup vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Cut cabbage in thin strips. Set aside. Saute onion in oil until clear, add cabbage, caraway seed, salt, water and cook about 20 minutes. Stir often. Add more water if necessary. When cabbage is cooked, add sugar and vinegar. Cook 2 minutes longer. This cabbage can also be mixed with square noodles.

Blend and spread. Also apricot or prune filling may be used.
