1 cup sugar
1 cup vegetable shortening, butter or margarine
1 cup cornstarch
2 cups flour
1 cup whipping cream
few drops almond flavoring
1 cup sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar and shortening. Add rest of ingredients in order, blending after each addition. This is a drop cookie and should not be larger than a half-dollar. Bake in slow oven at 250 F, until cookie is light golden brown around edges and white in center.
