2 1/2 cups macaroon coconut
3/4 cup light Karo syrup
1 bag (16 oz.) chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Put coconut in large bowl. Bring Karo syrup to a boil in saucepan and pour over coconut. Stir well and cover. Let set covered in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or more. Dampen your hands and roll the coconut into 1-inch balls. Place on waxed paper and put in freezer for 30 minutes. Melt chocolate chips in top of double boiler; stir 2 or 3 times until all are melted. Using fork to hold coconut balls, dip into melted chocolate. Shake a little, and then place on waxed paper. Return to refrigerator to cool and set.
