1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
Nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Butter cake pan. In heavy 4 qt. sauce pan, combine all ingredients. Place on medium heat, stir constantly with a wooden spoon to prevent scorching. Cook to 240º, or soft-ball stage. Pour in prepared pan.
