Crust: 3/4 Cup butter, 1- 1/2 Cup oatmeal, 1 Cup brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 Cups flour
Filling 1 Cup sugar, 2 tbsp. corn starch, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, 1 cup hot water, 5 large apples
boil all filling ingredients until clear.
Mix crust press half of mixture into a square pan add 5 large apples, cut in small pieces over dough. Pour cooked syrup over apples and dot with butter. Add rest of crust mixture on top. bake until apples are tender. In a 350º oven.
