1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 medium banana, sliced
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk

Icing:
2 tbsp. soft margarine
4 c. XXX sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 small ripe banana

Directions:
Directions:
Beat all of the first ingredients listed for 2 minutes. Spread in greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes. Cool and frost.

Mix Icing ingredients well and ice banana bars.
