1 head lettuce (iceberg)
1 cup celery
1 chopped onion (cut red onion in rings for color and texture)
1 pound of real bacon bits or 1 lb. of crumbled, cooked bacon
6-8 hard boiled eggs
1 small can tender young peas
8 oz. mild cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Layer the ingredients in order with the lettuce on the bottom and the tender young peas on the top.
Top with a dressing of 2 cups mayonnaise with two tablespoons splenda stirred in.
Sprinkle 8 oz. mild cheddar cheese on top.
