Crust: Sauce: 1 c. water 1 can pizza sauce (your favorite) 3 c. flour 1 can tomato sauce 2 tsp. yeast salt & pepper 1 tsp. salt garlic powder 3 tsp. sugar 2 TB. olive oil 1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar 1 1/2 TB. butter mozzarella cheese 1 egg favorite toppings
Combine the crust ingredients in bread machine according to bread machine directions. When dough cycle complete place in bowl to let rest or refrigerate if time allows. Meanwhile to make the sauce, just combine the ingredients--no need to heat. Pre-heat oven to 400º(or 425) put 1/2 the dough in stone ware pie plate, with 1/2 of the sausage, sauce and any toppings you like, then sprinkle cheese over all. Bake about 35-40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.You can either make 2 pies or 1 pie and 1 on a regular pizza pan or cookie sheet.
