1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c.(1 stick) margarine or butter softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. Robin Hood whole wheat flour
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 ground cloves
1 1/2 c. shredded carrots or zucchini
1 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Grease rectangular pan, approx. 13X9x2 inches. Mix brown sugar, margarine, vanilla and eggs in large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Stir in carrots and raisins. Spread in pan. Bake 25 to 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with your favorite cream cheese frosting if desired. Cut into aboout 2x1-1/2 in. bars.
