2 c cooked mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 c milk
4 c self-rising flour
1/8 tsp. baking soda
3 T sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together the first 3 ingredients until well blended. Add dry ingredients until moistened. If needed, add a little extra milk or flour to make dough right consistency for biscuits. Knead dough a few minutes, pat into 3/4 inch thickness, cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter and place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 400º for 15 minutes or until browned.
