3 c flour
2 1/4 c granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c milk
1/2 c orange juice
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 c vegetable oil
1/8 c poppy seed
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/4 c orange juice
3/4 c granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Mix together all cake ingredients with electric mixer for 1-2 minutes, scraping down sides of bowl as needed. Lightly grease 2 loaf pans 9 X 4 or 5 small loaf pans. Fill pans with batter. Bake 45-60 minutes at 350 To make orange glaze, mix together 1/4 c orange juice, 3/4 c sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. almond extract. Cool loaves for 30 minutes and top with the glaze.
