1 Package Great Northern Beans
1 Package of 4 Ham Hawks Shanks
1 Onion or 1/4 tsp. Onion Powder Optional
2 tsp.Salt
1/4 or 1 tsp. Black Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Wash 3 cups of beans & (sort beans in hand into colander check for little rocks)
Put all contents in the Crockpot & fill with water
covering to the top of the Ham hawks, be sure to cook on low all day long.
The meat will fall away from the bones, be sure to
pull the bones out of the soup.
Sever with homemade wheat bread or sour dough bread.
