Mix: 4 cups oatmeal
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup oil
Let stand 8 hours

Add: 2 well-beaten eggs
3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond extract
raisins and nuts, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool before removing from pan. (8/8/1970 Awake!) Can also bake in 13x9” cake pan – lightly greased – 25 minutes. Cut into bars and remove from pan after cooling slightly.
