1 box pitted dates
1 lb bacon, cut in half
slivered almonds
toothpicks
Directions:
Directions:
Place a almond in the dates
Wrap 1/2 strip of bacon around each date until all the dates and bacon are used up---secure with a toothpick.
Bake on a cookie sheet at 400 degrees till the bacon is crisp.
Serve "hot"

Serve with fruit and wine
