1 14 oz. bag caramels
1 5 1/3 oz. can Pet milk
1 stick oleo
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts
1 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels with 1/3 cup of the milk. Grease and flour 13"-x-9" cake pan. Mix cake mix, melted oleo, nuts, and the remainder of the milk. Press half of this mixture into pan. Bake 6 minutes in 350º oven. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot cake, pour on caramel mixture, and top with spoon dabs of remaining cake mixture. Bake 15 minutes at 350º. Let cool before cutting.
