2 cup potato water
1 cup mashed potatoes
1 cup lard
1 cup sugar
2 pkg. Yeast
2 beaten eggs
1 Tbsp. salt
flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cool potato water and mashed potatoes to lukewarm. Mix with lard and sugar. Add yeast. Let stand for 1 hour. Add eggs, salt, enough flour to make a soft dough and a little nutmeg. Let rise to double in bulk. Make doughnuts. Let rise again until double in bulk. Deep fry. Coat with sugar and cinnamon.
