gallon green tomatoes, remove stem ends & slice
6 large onions
1 pint cider vinegar
1 pint sugar (white or brown)
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp ground mustard
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp yellow mustard seed
1/2 tbsp whole allspice
1/2 tbsp cloves
3 red peppers cut fine

Combine all ingredients and boil until tender, stirring to prevent burning. When tender, put in hot jars and seal. Makes 4-5 quarts.
