Ingredients:

2 qt green tomatoes
3 ripe tomatoes
3 red peppers
3 green peppers
4 large onions
2 bunches celery
1 large cucumber
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp celery seed
1 c salt
3 pt vinegar
2 lb sugar

Corn Sauce:
corn
sugar
salt
vinegar
tumeric
mixed spice, ground
flour

Directions:
Directions:
Chop and soak over night mixed with 1 cup salt. Drain. Add vinegar and sugar. Cook until done.

Corn Sauce: Cook corn with sugar to taste, salt to taste, tumeric amd ground mixed spices mixed with flour to thicken, and vinegar to cover. If too strong, dilute with water.

Pour over the first pickle. Jar and seal.

Not sure that these two pickles go together. They were on the same piece of note paper and the corn sauce had parentheses around it. Directions were sketchy and assumed you would know how much of each thing. I don't know what was in the mixed spices but I doubt if it is mixed pickling spice.
