1 package fudge cake mix.
1 c. sugar
1-21 oz. can cherry pie filling
5 T. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Frosting:

Directions:
Grease and flour a 15X10 jelly roll pan or a 9X13 pan. Combine cake mix, cherry pie filling, eggs and almond extract. By hand, stir until well mixed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350. Jelly roll pan for 20-30 minutes. 9X13 pan 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Frosting: In small saucepan combine sugar, butter and milk. boil, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over bars.
