2 cups sugar
2/3 cup milk
2 squares chocolate or 2 tbsp cocoa
2 tbsp light Karo
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Break chocolate in small pieces so it will melt easily. Put sugar, milk and chocolate in sauce pan. Cook slowly until sugar is dissolved. Continue cooking to soft ball stage. Remove from fire, add butter and set in pan of cold water without stirring. When cold add vanilla and beat. Add nuts if desired.
