1 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 c. cream
pinch of soda

Directions:
Directions:
Heat water in heavy pan until it boils. Stir in sugar until it dissolves. Stir in cream and soda. Do not stir again. Cook until it reaches 254º or approximately that. Pour on a buttered marble slab. Drop on it the desired flavoring. When cool enough to hand pull until it gets tough. Stretch out on waxed paper and cut with scissors. When it creams, keep it in a metal container.
