5 T. melted butter

1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1/4 c. cereal, 2 T. pecans, 3 T. butter and remaining ingredients except Crescent rolls. Crush remaining cereal and mix with pecans. Separate rolls into 4 squares and press perforations together to form a more solid sheet. Place 1/4 of chicken mixture in center of each square, gather corners together and seal. Brush bundles with remaining butter, roll in nut mixture, and place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 about 25 minutes or until browned.

While the bundles are baking, melt 2 T. butter in a small pan. Slowly add flour to butter until well blended and slightly browned, about 4-5 minutes. Slowly whisk in the milk, and cook and stir until the sauce has thickened. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste, and a pinch or two of nutmeg.

Serve each bundle topped with a couple of spoons of the white sauce.

This recipe was given to my mom by Patty Edge, her daughter in law. Patty's sister had given her the recipe. Very tasty and easy to make too!
