2 C Karo syrup
2 C sugar
1 T cinnamon oil, to taste
1 t food coloring, of choice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan and boil until reaches 300 -HARD CRACK on candy thermometer. Pour into buttered muffin tins and let cool.

I used to make this at Granny's house when I was in 5th grade and sell by the piece at school. Granny bought the cinnamon oil for me from Goodman's Drug Store in Charlestown.
