2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. water
2 sticks oleo
4 Tbls cocoa
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
1/2 c. buttermilk

Frosting
1 stick oleo
6 Tbls milk
4 Tbls cocoa
Powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, and salt in large mixing bowl. Bring the water, oleo and cocoa to a boil, pour into flour and sugar. Beat until well mixed.(beat slowly at first as it will splatter). Then add eggs (one at a time) soda, and buttermilk (Can use sour milk made from vinegar and reg. milk) Mix. Pour into greased jelly roll pan and bake for approx. 30 min. @ 350 degrees
While cake is baking put the first 3 frosting ingredients into a pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla and enough powdered sugar to thicken to frosting consistency. Frost the cake while still warmºººº
